Did you have fun at the Pinewood Derby?  We had 41 creative pinewood cars being raced.  More coming on the winners.  I would like to thank the planning Team: Cubmaster & Communicator, Matthew Haneman; MC for the Event, Craig Vyvial;Track Coordinator, Kelly Cooper; Computer Tech Guys, Sam Whiteside and Kevin Schwing; Registration, Check-in and People's Award Team: Thomas, Emma and Sigi Means, Kevin Schwing, Brian Showers and Teri Shamlian.  Can't forget all of you who helped with set up and clean up.  Together we are Awesome! Join us to celebrate the 116th birthday of Scouting.  The theme this year will be "Wild Wild West".  Wear your Austin Western wear as we enjoy this pack meeting.  Activities and Food are the name of the game.  We will be reaching out to you to see how you can help with this Action Filled Pack Meeting. Pack Meeting: Physical Activity Night

Bring your food donations to the Tuesday, December 9 Pack Meeting!  This will wrap up our year of community service.  Don't worry, there will many opportunities in 2026.  We will be handing out Pinewood Derby car kits so families have over the holidays to work on their designs.  There will also be a fun surprise activity. So don't miss the December 9 Pack Meeting. 

Pack 201 has two wonderful opportunities this month for scouts and their families to give back to the community and earn their Citizenship Belt Loop!

Option 1: Pack Food Drive for Brighter Days Food Pantry

Our monthly Pack meeting will include a community service component! Please help us support local families by bringing non-perishable food items.

14 Scouts and family members came out to the 9th Street BMX Track to rake, sweep, and clean up trash Saturday Nov. 22.  Though some areas were muddy, there was still plenty for us to do. All had fun! We were like little ants all over the mounds. Great area for the kids.   There were some challenging jumps and easy curves for kids on bikes with training wheels as well as experienced riders. After a group picture, (and candy) the kids were ready to start riding. This qualified as a community service project and is applied to the Citizen Belt Loop for all who attended.  Great Job Scouts!!!!
